Shepherds' Huts & Boutique Glamping Barns

Tucked up in the hills above Betws-y-Coed, we're in the perfect location for an outdoor break with luxury indoor accommodation in Snowdonia National Park.

Ideally suited for couples and families, the shepherds' huts and glamping barns are charming, romantic and cosy.  Close attention has been paid to the details that matter - comfortable beds with luxurious bed linen, warm Welsh blankets and sheepskin rugs, super fluffy towels, outdoor kitchens that are a joy to cook in and seating areas to make the most of the views, the starry night skies and the wood fires.

WELCOME TO SNOWDONIA GLAMPING HOLIDAYS

Interior of glaamping barn

It's hard to believe we built our first shepherds' huts 11 years ago when glamping was hardly a word!  With full-time jobs and a growing family we couldn't expand until Richard ditched the weekly London commute in favour of the good life and started converting our barn.

Our first couple of years were a huge success - thanks to some of the lovely guests who have come back to stay several times. We've had families who say they've reconnected, played games and spent real time together.  Couples have spent romantic evenings gazing up at the incredible stars (we've even had marriage proposals here!) and groups of friends have sat round the fire, murmuring and laughing quietly late into the night.

Available for booking all year, our barns take glamping to a whole new level!  Inside, big central woodburning stoves (as well as underfloor heating) ensure you'll be warm whatever the weather, luxurious bathrooms that you'd be happy to find in a boutique hotel, and enormous super king-sized beds and hidden away bunk beds that children love.  Outside, fully equipped outdoor kitchens, firepits and BBQs will have you living the dream. Add the backdrop of Snowdonia National Park and you're in outdoor heaven - unplugged from internet, mobile and TV - this is the place to come to switch off completely without the discomfort of bivvying down in the corner of a far-flung field.

Welcome to Snowdonia Glamping Holidays!

There's a reason North Wales is known as the Outdoor Adventure Capital of Europe.

Snowdonia National Park is famous the world over for its awe-inspiring mountains, breathtaking scenery, stunning lakes, rivers and waterfalls.  It's a natural playground for any lover of the outdoors and, as if that weren't enough, we have a range of attractions for all ages to add a new edge of excitement to any visit here.

ZipWorld, who brought us the world's fastest zip wire & the only Alpine Coaster Ride in the UK have now added Quarry Karts and Underground Adventure Golf to their attractions; Go-Below Underground Adventures are almost our neighbours & will look after you as you descend the world's longest underground zip wire in the world on the UK's scariest assault course!

If you prefer to keep your two feet or perhaps two wheels on the ground, check out our local mountain biking trails Gwydir Mawr and Bach - some of the UK's finest I'm told!

If all that sounds too much for you, there are some gentler, more sedate attractions too.

For a firm favourite of our younger guests, look no further than Greenwood Family Park.  The castles of North Wales are majestic and offer a glimpse into the greatest stories of our past. And the National Trust have a number of properties and gardens which are well worth a visit too.

EV Drivers welcome!
EV charging is now available on site
